We had the pleasure of creating this beautiful cake and cupcakes for a sweet Baby Shower on the weekend. The main cake was a small vanilla cake with jam and cream centre, topped with buttercream, and then covered in fondant. The bird and flowers were all modelled by hand, and Flake chocolate was used for the nest and as a garnish around the base of each plate. The cupcakes were also vanilla with buttercream, then topped with a fondant disc.

A decadent chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, topped with large fondant bow, novelty truck, and cake crumbs. The base is surrounded by Malteasers. The client requested a construction themed chocolate cake for her 4 year old son's birthday party, and we happily delivered a fun and delicious cake to fit the requirements!

We had the pleasure of working with the very talented Lizzie, from Life Is Sweet Candy Buffets, over the weekend. The brief was: bright yellow, pink and blue, with Chevron and Polka Dot prints. The client requested a Butterscotch Mud Cake, which we then covered in our very decadent Caramel Buttercream. The centre of the cake had gooey, oozing Caramel throughout... a caramel lovers dream come true!

A very cute little cake that can be suitable for so many occasions! This particular cake was very petite, to serve 5-8 guests,and consisted of a vanilla butter cake with buttercream, covered in Fondant, with Fondant bow, eyes, nose and whiskers. This cake comes in a variety of sizes and flavours and is priced from $99, plus delivery.

This Birthday cake was for a client who didn't want a typical Dora/Diego cake for her son, and wasn't a fan of Fondant either. The design was simple: a vanilla butter cake, covered in buttercream, with edible embellishments and ribbon. The colour theme for the party was red, white and soft green so it was important for the colours in the cake to tie back with the party decor. The figurines were hand modelled in moulding paste, as was the shrubs and small flowers. The only non-edible elements were the ribbon and palm trees!

This cute little cake was definately created with the kids in mind! A delicious vanilla cake, covered in our very popular home-made buttercream icing, with piping, edible sugar planes and clouds. What little boy doesn't love a good transport theme??? And what mother isn't relieved to serve an attractive, elegant transport themed cake, instead of a bright, garish, ugly one??? As a mother of 3 (soon to be 4!), I must admit I'm always trying to steer clear of the bright and loud when it comes to childrens cakes, opting for a simpler and softer approach. It seems to work out nicely really... and everyones happy in the end :)

This intimate 1st Birthday was styled simply, but the pale blues and soft pearls proved to be very effective. The gorgeous cake was a Vanilla Cake with Butter Cream and Jam filling, covered in a pearlised Fondant. The design subtly tied in with the cute Train Cookies and Fairy Bread, whilst the Choc Crackles were colour co ordinated to match the theme, and the meringues finished with a pearl effect to tie back with the bottom tier of the cake. Other treats of the day were fluffy white marshmallows, blue fairy floss and popcorn, and the savoury dishes consisted of a hot buffet-style lunch of Shepherds Pie, a Leek & Goats Cheese Tart, a Pasta Bake, and an assortment of roast vegies and salad... the perfect lunch for a cold winters day!
